Duplex mismatch? Slow upload rate

I have a brand new CCR1036 8G 2S+ router I am having a little problem. I have a 2GB Fiber WAN connection on SFP1 and my LAN on SFP2 and on the ethernet ports. Running a speed test (speedtest.net) for example, I will get 900/900 on any of the ethernet ports, but when I connect via SFP2, I get 1200/80 or so. The same server plugged into a local SFP switch will test consistently at 10G. It is clearly a problem with the SFP2 port configuration on the mikrotik. Can you please advise? Auto negotiation is disabled, speed is set to 10G, the link shows up at 10G in the config and the light on the front of the mikrotik but any device I try into the SFP2 port will not exceed 100mbps upload, although download has been around 1200mbps or so.

What other information can I provide to be helpful? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I think the problem lies in how I have my LAN side setup. I have Ether2 as the root port and the rest and the SFP2 bridged. In the Bridge menu, it shows SFP2 as “designated port”. Not sure how to address this.

I think what I need to do is not use a bridge for SFP2 and Ether2 and instead route traffic? Not sure how to do this or if I am on the right track… this router does NOT have the switch chip, so it is switching in software, that may be the limitation I am hitting.

Hi, What you can try is to turn on flow control on those ports.

Its possible that the 10Gb interface is over shoving data to the 1gig lan ports.

soon we will install our ccr1072 then I will have the same issue to sort out
