Duplicate Segments

I am wondering why the Dude will add auto discovered segments more than once? It’s almost like it can’t tell it already exists and adds it a second time. During another auto discover later on it figures it out and then connects things again.

If you see, the top right connection gets added with multiple links and a duplicate auto discovered segment. How can I prevent this from happening?

I have learned to not auto discover the entire network anymore, but it is very handy to use it on CPE subnets so that it automatically finds new CPEs.

actually its reverse. I built it by hand and then use auto discover on small /27 segments to auto discover CPEs as the techs install them. I am guessing its just a bug - that the dude cannot decide it already has a segment.

yeah I would have to agree. On both counts they should not add segments they already have… what program did you make the graphic with?
