Duplicate Sessions Problem

Hello,

Our CCR1072 have been working for around 200 days without any problem but today we checked the active connections and we have about 1000 duplicate pppoe sessions with diferrent IPs

And if we try to kick one client,it looks like it dissapeared and everything is ok but when restarting winbox the duplicate session still there.

Somebody know a solution without rebooting the router? We have like 2400 clients and we dont want to drop them all.

Thank you!

Nobody? :frowning:

Aren’t they using duplicate sessions for some reason?

I’m using duplicate session here, a basic load-balance, i get two IPs differents with same username and password.
I do this because the up is 2M, is too few to me and they not offer more upload… They uses CCR1016-12G with ROS 6.34, 6.35 and 6.36.

Nope,we are using only one session per client.

Even the ‘‘one session per host’’ in the pppoe server is checked and still got duplicate sessions with the same MAC address

Here i can only duplicate the session with same mac address and up to two sessions. Also, i tried with others mac and does not connect when the login is connected.
Can be some bug in pppoe server?

It looks like like that.

It would be nice if somebody from Mikrotik could confirm if this is a bug or not and how to fix it.

Sorry for this late reply,
its a issue from MTK.

It happened to me at some point after upgrading, so I have reverted to the old version and now I am not going to upgrade it unless I am forced to.

If you need some more details, there is a thread around here with GHOST SESSIONS, take a search

Maybe its because of action=src-nat instead of masquerade?
