I run a small WISp and use Ubiquiti for transmiters (APs) and backhaul p2p, i also use mikrotik for bts switches and core router nice experience so far. i have installed Ubiquiti Air fiber 5x + Rd30dbi for a 12km p2p bts uplink. It can push to 80Meg but a lot of interference such that i only get 2x modulation with even very nice signals of -56. Am interested in the new the DynaDish 5 802.11ac outdoor device with an integrated 25dBi antenna to replace the p2p. Has anyone done such a link with distance and capacity too? need your views before i commit buying this.Kindly advise on the distance and capacity too. I also have 35km link i would like to migrate too.
I havev to be honest - 5X is better in throughput.
