DynDNS entries by PPP event scripts?

Can PPP event scripts be used for adding/deleting entries in DynDNS like services?

I have my own domain name from Strato.de and a DynDNS service came with it. I would like up/down events of my PPPoE WAN uplink to trigger ROS-scripts for registering the current public ipv4 address to this service (API-Url: /nic/update?hostname=my.domain.de&myip=###IP###&wildcard=NOCHG&mx=NOCHG&backmx=NOCHG).

Any examples?

Have you tried MT Cloud service? IP->Cloud.
It will make a name like this your_serial.sn.mynetname.net
Then point Strato.de to MT Cloud service DNS name your_serial.sn.mynetname.net
With this no script is needed and all DNS updates automatically.
