e-mail: abnormal termination

Hi guys,

I am having trouble sending mails from some of my sites, two sites same setting in the e-mail, ie servers…yet one works and the other gives the error below.

09:07:39 system,error Error sending e-mail: abnormal termination (timeout)

Does anyone know how to fix this? I have been trying but I am just not coming right…

Some mail servers will fail to communicate if your MTUs are lower than 1500…

But to me it looks as links are failing…? Not sure we have enough info to help you! :unamused:

I had some problems with email but I was natting at the tower and the gateway so I switched over to static routing and fixed the problem
