E50UG "hEX refresh" ... will this specific model let me use my home IP as a vpn so when I am abroad I can use laptop to appear as if I'm accessing website from my home IP? Is it easy?

I know how to do things like reinstall windows and format a drive, but never worked in IT employee, never been a hardware guy, not the type of person who is interested in building a home lab, I don't even know what the diff is between a switch and a router, I'm just a super regular type of person...

I'd like to leave the E50UG "hEX refresh" inside my house, connected to my T-Mobile 5G wireless home internet router box... and then when I am overseas.... using my laptop I want to vpn into the little E50UG and access websites, e.g. banking, and it appears like I am in my home IP.

Can this specific model do that? Is it easy? I saw some videos but it is talking about using this little E50UG as a VPN for my PHONE... and advertising the phone app... the prob is I don't care about the phone, I don't want to do this with my phone... I want to connect my laptop to it.

Also I am not faking working from home, I literally just need to access websites from my home residential IP, that's all (I think people who are faking working from home need more complicated setups, just in case that makes it more clear).

Is it possible to do this easily with this device? And if this is the wrong device, can you tell me alternatives? Thanks a lot

Your problem is likely that the T-Mobile wont give you a public IP on their network.

If you had one... it is not that hard. I do it all the time when in public to secure my traffic from the local network. Plus the local provider only sees a UDP connection to my home network. Not any of my data.

In germany "Deutsche Telekom" (used to be T-Mobile) offers a APN that gives you a public IPv4
