Times without numbers we have to buy a new license as a result of crashed HDD for our clients, is there no way of retrieving this licnse since all license gets autentication or validation from Mikkroik?
The process of sending mail and waiting endlessly for reply especially if one buys via a third party is frustrating and no body can wait as you will all ur customers.
Can’t Mikrotik create a sort of portals where one will register his licence and be free to transfer it to another system with much stress?
Any Idea of a better way out?
Start using IDE flash DOMs instead of hard drives for your license.

If your motherboard has IDE on a supported ide chipset (newer boards DO NOT) you can use the IDE versions which start at $15

I say supported IDE Chipset because some motherboards that still have an IDE interface use a JMicron chipset to run that interface, which isn’t supported by RouterOS. But RouterOS does support the Intel SATA thus the need to move towards the SATA versions of these devices.
anyway, it would be cool if you can buy the license, then transfer it to another HDD and use both =)
