"eco mode" and schedule question

Hello,

I have version webfig 6.34 installed.

Is there an eco mode, meaning that it will transmit less when in standby? I know those routers exist (JRS Eco-Wifi), but I was hoping I can get the same result with mikrotik.

and another question related.
The router is in a building nearby, so without me having to go there, how can I shut down the wifi for say 6 hours, that the wifi turns on by itself?

Yes, I want to have less radiation in the house, I rather not have a discussion about that, because I don’t know if it is harmful or not, I would have to study about it. But my wife believes it is harmful and she is pregnant now and I want to support her.

Thank you for answering me, even when you think it is silly..

You can attenuate the transmitter by 1db steps freely and you can even switch the wifi off/on by scheduled scripts as you wish. Above that note, that when no data is transmitted to a client, the Ap sleeps and sends just only the beacon time to time.

Thank you. You say “the Ap sleeps and sends just only the beacon time to time.” Can you tell me how many times it sends the beacon and is that configurable as well?
