Edge Router

Can a RouterBoard be used as an Edge router. For example the “Wan” port would have the ISP ip address and then the LAN ports will have the public Internet address issued by the ISP. Basically it is a cable modem environment that is passing 13 CIDR addresses. A normal firewall can’t do this since most use NAT. Can i disable NAT and just allow this router to pass the data through and configure each port to the specific address as needed?

Thank you in advance.

Yes, you have complete control over firewall and nat and routing (and advanced routing protocols, if needed)

Yes, you can use them. Routerboards are perfect for that

Perfect Thank you for the quick response.
