Hi guys
Is the EIRP calculation for 2x2, 3X3 802.11n the same as 802.11a/b/g ?
I’m using this calculater here for 802.11a/b/g http://www.distributed-wireless.com/calculators/EIRP.html

Consider it as 2 or 3 senders. The EIRPs have to be summed up.
So if you send 10db on 2 chains with a 10db Antenna each
which points into the same direction you have 23db EIRP.
20 + 20 gives 23 in logarithmics.
MT calculates this for you when you enter Antenna Gain and
Country.
Thanks…so legally, it is better to have an nstreme dual link(200w send and 200w receive) compared to a 2X2 mimo link(200 send/receive )?
Depends. When your regulator allows Eirp per device yes. When it is
allowed per place you’ve the same restrictions.
EDIT: See attached regulations
Does muiltiple co-located transmitters include a MIMO link?
