How can you have the router send the admin a warning or an email
of some sort that if a certain Interface has peaked to say… 2Mb or so?

I’m a bit in a hurry, but some hints: Look into the manual for “traffic-monitor” under advanced tools (you have to have the package “advances tools” installed…). This features is for running scripts if the traffic at an interface is crossing a threshold you can define. Configure this and tell it to run a script that is sending you an e-mail through the “/tool e-mail” command.
If you don’t get along with it post again, I’ll post an example if I have some more time…
