I have a script which detects keywords in the logs and sends an email alert but I am now looking for recommendations on a good Email to SMS text gateway software, that will send these email alerts as SMS texts.

Yes it does have, although I don’t know how much. It depends on how sms you think you will get. Since google is in two step verification with sms, the limit must be a considerable number. Worth trying anyway if you can’t find anything else for free. You can setup two accounts in google if you like.
