Email uses? What best practices should I be doing?

Again, Sorry for the newbie questions…

I have never setup the Mikrotik email feature. I have read some posts about "monitoring? using the email feature. What to you guys use the email function for? Can someone share some scripts/tricks on using the Email feature.

Any remote information concerning site changes, issues, problems, reboots, etc… would be great to have I think.

One script that i have found and using before cloud ip, was to email the new external ip address of ether1-gateway to me so i can connect to router

Another one is in firewall dhcp server option to email me when there is a rogue dhcp server on the network

I use dyn dns scripting so I do not need to email me my public addresses. I use email for sending logs, exports and backups regularly to be able fastly rebuild any device in case of failure.
