Can anyone tell me if eMMC memory can run Router Os on x86?
What made you ask that question?
What problem are you trying to solve?
Some mini PCs have eMMC drive to boot from (like Intel Compute Stick and others), same for SD card… so maybe that? ROS would need some drivers for that I think, never tried that.
Or maybe trying to ask if you can boot ROS from M.2 drive and it got lost in translation somewhere?
I tried to install Routeros on R86S with the message “No harddrives found”

Is SSD 2208 on the router’s driver list?
I suggest you just boot it off flash drive, it pretty much works every time on every machine as usb drivers are stable and universal.
Then you can check what hardware can ROS actually see on R86S platform…
Yes, what you said I understand! Looks like eMMC can’t see in bootloader! Because eMMC only accepts GPT!
