Emulating SXT SA5 ac

Hello Mikrotik community,

I hope everyone is doing well.

I am looking for a way to emulate the “SXT SA5 ac” in a virtual environment. Specifically, I tried using GNS3 with the CHR image, but I couldn’t find a wireless interface available in CHR.

The idea came from a scenario I’m working on that involves three SXT SA5 ac devices configured as follows:

Backhaul-AP-001: Acts as the backhaul and the main access point.
Station-AP-001: Functions as a station and also an access point.
Station-AP-002: Functions as a station and also an access point.
Is there any way to emulate such a setup using Mikrotik’s tools or other solutions? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Besides the need of using real hardware (as simulators/emulators have only ehternet/cable interfaces), maybe you could describe what you are planning, those devices are a single radio one and with a limited beam angle of 90°, so they are not that good as stations (the normal 28° SXT 5 would be better) and very limited as AP (only 90° coverage) and you are limited to 5 GHz (which for a generic AP implies ALL devices connecting to it to be newish) and if you use the same radio as station and AP, to - roughly - half the possible AC speed.
