End user bandwith graphing+ total bytes dl or up in hotspot

hello guys we are implenting a hotspot solution for wireless and cable costumers. all costumers log on one mkbox, our profiles are a combination of speed and how much bandwith consumed. for expamle profile is is 512dl/128up and has a limit of 20 GB per month. is there a way for the costumers to see graphical solution to see how much bandwith consumed and what is there traffic rates.

Yes, you can.

Depends on how many users you have thogh if you have like 15 you will set it up in a day :slight_smile:

Pls SuperDust can u point me to the beginning of the road, i have in excess of 200 users, but i can add them in parts, and i am consered of adding the new users at first then begin with my old costumers. thanks alot

First of all you need to get Cacti up and running on a PC or server.
I havent actually began graphing MT equipment yet (as I just began testing it), but I have Alvarion, HP, and Cisco witch Im graphing.

The easyest way is to find Cacti templets for yor equipment, and add these to Cacti.
Then follow the guides on the Cacti web site, you will be up and running in no time..

If there is no decent templets, you have to make one yourself or use single OIDs.
Making your own templets is the only thing in Cacti that is a bit hard, so if you find templets for you equipment you are saved :smiley:

After adding graphs for CPEs you add a user and give him rights to se only his own graphs.
