I’m testing this hw as a client bridge and UBNT Bullet2 will be the next. AP is running ROS 3.25 + Ubiquiti SR2 on it.
Straight setup, sending info to MT-Syslog etc, no problem at al.
Than the labels on links … 1650 have a V2 MIB (+RFC1213) and was easy to add the labels both at WLAN and LAN ports using 1650 SNMP as data source.
Suddenly I noticed a huge traffic on 1650 labels despite the client PC is simply with a online radio open (64Kbps).
A glance at AP wireless link label I noticed both values was pretty close to each other.
Bottom line: EOC 1650 is measuring the total AP traffic at ROS WLAN port. Configured as a transparent bridge, the WLAN and ETH interfaces readings are the same.
Is it an EOC1650 MIB bug or any client set up as transparent bridge will have the same behaviour?
