Can someone please assist on howto tweak and optimize Multicast stream. I’m running RB2011uias-rm on both sides using OS ver. 6.41rc47.
I have 2 problems ATM:
- Sound is flickering and picture hangs from time to time for a split second. I don’t have problem with pixelation and picture tearing
- On receiver side when I connect interface it collect’s ip using dhcp from sender (multicast) side.
I connect eoip tunnel between A and B side using public internet. Let’s say that A is sender (multicast) and B receiver side.
A side:
Mikrotik Eth1: public internet
Local network is 192.168.5.1/24 and playout is located on 192.168.5.62. Multicast is set to 235.45.10.1 port 1234
On this side I have Cisco router that is responsible for dhcp server and wan block. Mikrotik I have only public internet, eoip tunnel and bridge setup.
B side:
Mikrotik Eth1: public internet
As I said when I connect to interface on receiver side it picks up ip from range 192.168.5.x. I test using VLC and stream play normally apart problems I already mention.
On this side I also have only public internet, eoip tunnel and bridge setup.
On both sides I enabled IGMP snooping.
