EoIP Bridging and RIP

First I apologize for the crazy configuration, but this site is being totally redesigned. During the redesign I have a few problems that I need to work around to keep subscribers working.

The problem is that at the remote site the ISP has blocked port 25.

I have set up a EoIP tunnel to another site that where I have a mail server that is relaying mail for the customers on the remote site. The EoIP tunnel is bridged to the interface that serves the clients. The router has 2 interfaces, 1 for subscribers and 1 for internet.

The remote site has 1 dynamic public IP. On the private side there are a few subnets routed to the subscribers and Masq’d in the router. RIP is running on the private interface.

I am marking the SMTP traffic and dst-natting it to the mailserver that is relaying it.

The other site where the mail server resides also has several subnets and runs RIP. The trouble is that the RIP routes update over the EoIP tunnel and things begin to go wacko. I am having trouble filtering the RIP updates from crossing the EoIP tunnel.

This only has to work for a few days untill a new backhaul is installed. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Joe
