EoIP overhead

Hello everybody,

Do you know how much is the overhead of EoIP?

Mikrotik Wiki says:

Note: EoIP tunnel adds at least 42 byte overhead (8byte GRE + 14 byte Ethernet + 20 byte IP)

In MTCRE Training, the trainer said: The EoIP overhead is about 256 bytes, so, you will have problems to get more of 30 Mbps in this tunnel.

I regularly get >500Mbps with EoIP between RB1100AHx2’s so that 30Mbps figure doesn’t hold. Also 256byte overhead seems implausibly large.
