EoIP tunnel question

Hello,

i need to connect 70 remote sites to our main office. I’m planning to use EoIP over PPTP to achieve this over a public network.

Do I need to create a separate EoIP interfaces at the corporate office or 1 EoIP int and point the routers at the remote sites to the same EoIP tunnel ID?

Thanks

Separate tunnels, then bridge them (assuming you want them bridged).

And bonus tip…never use tunnel ID zero.

Good luck.

Thanks I will keep that in mind.

I configured EoIP over PPtP tunnel and everything seems to work fine until I tried to bridge the conection.
When i enable the bridge I loose connection to the Internet @ Corporate Offices.

Any suggestions?

are you using for local and destination adrres in EIOP TUNELconfig, vpn addresses or your public internet addresses?

I created a new subnet on the network specifically for this tunnel

Just to clarify:
local subnet: 192.168.x.x
vpn subnet: 172.16.0.x
internet: 65.x.x.x
EoIP:172.30.0.x (Remote=.254 Corp=.253)
