RB750gr3 gives me about 380 Mbit/s throughput with EoIP and MTU 1500 with 20 concurrent TCP sessions with a traffic generator.
What I am actually looking for is a piece of hardware which can do 1Gbit/s full duplex, i.e. 1Gbit/s up and 1 Gbit/s down concurrentl without any problem.
(Without IPSec). Btw, it´s for VMware VMotion over IP.
Reading about CCR, the throughput is limited to 1 Gbit/s half duplex (per core), it seems? So, what device will be the right choice in my case? (setup would consist of multiple Mikrotik device for running LACP over each single tunnel. LACP would actually be done between the switches connected at the Mikrotik boxes)
Waiting for the new RB1100AHx4 would be a choice.. but performance for EoIP isn´t mentioned on MUM´s slides.
