Equipment and setup for a LAN party for youth

Hello,

I’m part of a non-profit organization who arranges LAN parties for youth.
As of today we have five Cisco SG200-50 switches which we aggregate links between to increase the switch to switch throughput, and this works well but we’re looking into how we can increase capacity in the near future.

I don’t have much experience with networking outside of playing with my Routerboards at home, so I thought I’d ask here if what I’m thinking is utterly stupid.

Basically what I’m thinking of would be to get something like a Dell Powerconnect 8024F cheap from eBay to use as the main switch, and then have CRS226 units connect to it using their 10gbps uplink. As we don’t have a lot of money to throw at this right away (would have to buy equpment little by little really …) I’d then connect the SG200 units to the CRS units as needed to increase the amount of ethernet ports available for use.

Scenario described in the image.

Would be nice to get some feedback on my thinking, and please do suggest better setups
