For a few months now, we’ve been experiencing behavior we don’t understand with Winbox and some routers running ROS 7. It happens more often with the CCR2116 and CCR2216 routers, and we want to find out if it’s due to a misconfiguration on our part.
The behavior is that when accessing the routers through Winbox via IP or ROM, the Winbox logs in and closes within 1 second, creating a loop that makes it impossible to access through Winbox. We then access it through the new Winbox and it allows us to log in, but some time later it does the same thing on the new Winbox. We don’t understand the reason, and it happens to us on different networks with different configurations. The situation is more intense on the CCR2116 and CCR2216 routers when they have more than 2,000 PPPoE users or approximately 4 GB of traffic.
We also noticed that when we connect directly to the router and access it via IP or Mac, this doesn’t happen.
Has anyone had a similar experience?
