Ok, today other random quirks…
the http:// server stops responding randomly when viewing through any web browser but the client can still connect to the server (running on it’s own dedicated windows xp box) and view everything fine
try to restart the server i get Error: 1053, cannot restart in a “timely fashion”
just curious if anyone has ran into this, what they did to possibly avoid it in the future, and what may have caused it so i can put another “random Dude quirk” to possible rest
thanks in advance
Confirm, http and https server stops ones in a few weeks, all the other functions run fine. In such a situations you can open login prompt in web brouser, but can not authentificate.
The solution is to disable/enable Web Access in server configuration.
i take it this is without restarting the service?
i’ll remember to try this next time, thanks!
hello again - seeing this has already been discussed and the workaround is stil the same.

It is still an issue with Dude 4 beta 2 - did you find out anything regarding this?
if it’s not reliable we can’t use this (otherwise very nice) feature.
Any command line options that can restart the dude’s web server using a script?
thanks
Andreas
