Error sending e-mail

Dude v6.42.3 installed on CCR 1009
trying to setup notification to send email. I tried multiple different email account all with the same problem.
In the logs is says "Error sending e-mail…: DNS resolve failed
If I do a ping to the email server it resolves
Any ideas on what too check?

any chance you are blocking outgoing UDP 53 reqs?

Try to ping from within mikrotik (tools) to google.com and see if it resolves.

Are you use a Proxy?
If you ping and resolve address correctly. If don’t you use a Proxy check that is disable on Internet Option or check for something wrong.
