Error when updating Mikrotik 7.18.1 and 7.19.1 if the Check For Updates command was executed

I encountered an issue with updating Mikrotik devices of versions 7.18.1 and 7.19.1.

If the command ‘Check For Updates’ is executed on such a device, the list of packages shows ALL packages: both installed and available for that device.

At the same time, Dude sees that all packages are ‘installed’ on the device.

As a result, when trying to update such a device, Dude attempts to download ALL packages to it.
And if there isn’t enough memory, the update fails.
I think this is an issue with Dude.

Perhaps there is a way to remove non-installed packages from the package list after executing ‘Check For Updates’?

The photo shows the state before executing ‘Check For Updates’, after executing ‘Check For Updates’, and during the update.

It’s a known issue with Dude as a result of a change some versions ago to show all possible packages.
I already suggested it to someone else, create a support ticket.
The more people do, the more attention it might get.

Their response will then be an indication if they still support Dude or not.

As an alternative: can’t you use a folder on some external device to have those packages available for Dude ? It has been a while since I played with it so I am not sure …
