GNS3 Version: GNS3 v2.2.47
Operating System: Windows 10 Pro
Preface - total VM & Linux noob! I’ve got GNS3 up and running on Workstation Pro 17.5.2 on my laptop. I added a QEMU raw image of Mikrotik’s CHR v6.49.15 so I could work with RouterOS using the emulator.
The problem: whenever I drag the node for the CHR image onto the project space and try to start it, I get the following pop-up “Hardware acceleration can only be used with the following qemu executables:qemu-system-x86_64, qemu-system-i386, qemu-kvm”, and the node refuses to start.
I’ve spent a total of 14 hours Googling / YouTubing/etc. with no success. Can someone help me please?
