Just purchased MikroTik RB931-2nd model and wanted to set my NEW password on configuration page.
After its creation then-working wireless network signal had disappeared from the ‘availables’ list on the PC, still functioning cable connection no longer links to the configuration page (ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT), while resetting to the factory mode does not resolve this error either.
What have I just done?! Any hints on how to get the right solution to this mystery- WinBox times out access point as well. Hope for the best answer from you with sincere faith in collective reasoning!
Already tried connecting pc to eth2 or eth3, NOT eth1 ?
Your device should appear in winbox neighbours.
Connect using MAC. Then you should be able to configure everything.
