ether1 is not working (light is on and shows that the cable is connected)

My newly arrived RBmAP2nD has exactly the same issue. Ether1 led lit, cannot netinstall but as long as I don’t include ether1 in any of my configuration the unit works fine.
I can connect to the device using discovery on any of the other ports (ether2 in this case).
As soon as I add ether1 to bridge, unit becomes less responsive (e.g. 50% ping loss, MAC Winbox disconnecting after a few seconds).
You should take this up with your supplier.
Check the ether1 pins cant conflict with other pins. Try hard reset hap lite using reset button

I use extended configuration for 2 isp from http://mikrotikwizard.com and the first port is not in use.
