ethernet router with 24 port

Hi, exists a router witk 24 ports?

Yes!

Really? Mikrotik’s list of ethernet routers tops at 18 ports or so (CCR2004-16G-2S+). CRS32x still count as switches (which indeed can route).

The question asked was… Are there 24 port routers.
The correct answer is YES>

The question you made up in the tiny corner of the space occupied by the orbital skull

" Does Mikrotik have any 24 port routers
The correct answer is No.

Since I suspect this a fly by, nuisance post, it got the answer it deserved.
If a person is unable to find MT website, look up; routers, read the listings… I hardly doubt they are in any position to config such a router.

Also depends on what you want to do with it. Are you talking about linerate routing across all 24 ports? Or a router that only has to NAT/Firewall/DNS for a single 1Gbps uplink, and everything else is just switched behind the NAT? CRS3xx could do the latter (moreso in V7, if setup properly). Linerate routing with extensive rules across all ports? BGP? I don’t even know if the old TILERA routers could really pull that off.

Being your charming self as usual, I see

Well part of the MTUNA certification (very few have) includes an overall concept of accuracy and brevity.
Implied in that is not to make assumptions, or attempts to fill in missing pieces, because that is one small step away from arrogance and also dog shit. ;-PP
Thus get the facts/evidence (network diagrams, configs etc..) and instead of reading minds ( other CERTS are prone to this ) , try to elicit and then understand the requirements in the ops/perps own words!!

Something I learned long time ago.
Never assume = main cause for errors.
