Ethernet traffic Drops for split second every so often v5.11

Hello all, I was not able to find anything on this topic, although I wasn’t really sure what to search for so I may have overlooked a related thread.

I have an x86 RouterOS installed as our edge router, ether1 is our feed, ether 2 is our network (all Public IP’s, no NAT) We noticed that when we had the traffic graph for ether1 or ether 2 opened and just watched it for awhile, every 5 minutes or so there would be a gap in the graph where, apparently, traffic just stopped moving for a split second. It doesn’t seem to be effecting anything enough for people to notice, but a constant ping being ran to say google will drop at the same time the graph reports the small gap in traffic. Both ether1 and ether2 show the gaps at the same time. Yesterday we went on-site and divided our network up by putting half of our devices on ether3 on a separate subnet but that hasn’t changed anything, now you can see the same gap happen simultaneously on ether1,ether2, and ether3. (we also replaced the switch with a new one just in case.) I am monitoring the switch and the router with SNMP and there have been no errors or collisions reported. We have also checked with our provider to make sure we weren’t maxing out our bandwidth limits, and we are well within our limits. We are paying for 200mbit commit but it will burst to 300, the max I see on our edge router has been 170mbps. Any help or suggestions on this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
