Exclude ports from igmp snooping?

Hi

Is it possible to exclude some ports on an CRS326-24G-2S+RM from IGMP snooping?

More Information:

  • In the past (and with SwOS) I used 2 isolated ports (1 ethernet + 1 spf+) as replacement for a standalone media converter for my FTTH connection.
  • A short while ago I changed my provider, and the new one offers IPTV over multicast.
  • This worked well with IGMP snooping disabled, but when I activated it then the picture always froze after around 4 minutes.
  • After some trial and error (and switching to RouterOS) I found out that it works perfectly when I’m using an external media converter instead of the isolated ports.
  • I’m currently using a different VLAN and “forwarding-override” to isolated the ports, but that doesn’t seem to be enough isolation.
  • I was thinking about setting up a second bridge where IGMP snooping isn’t activated, but I read that this would be bad because it wouln’t have hardware offloading.
