I have a device running v6.44.6 that acts as PPTP server. Currently, the IP pool is a /24, and it is close to being exhausted. I would like to simply expand this to a /23, but I’m wondering if there is any service interruption when doing this. Does anyone know if this will cause all existing PPTP sessions to be cleared out? Or will it work as I’m expecting it to, and it will simply start allocating IPs for new sessions from the bigger pool?
I’m simply going to edit the IP Pool, change the end address from 10.0.0.254 to 10.0.1.254, and click OK.
