experience with SR9 and concrete floors?

Does anyone have experience with the SR9 and concrete floors (complete with rebar) they would like to share?

What about them? Going through them? Going above them?

You haven’t really provided enough detail for anyone to give you a useful reply. What are you trying to do?

And… most likely, the best way to find out would be to go and try it onsite. Rebar spacing differs, concrete construction/thickness/material differs, etc.

ldvaden how many floors do you need to go through? what kind of building in terms of thickness of floors

Thanks for your reply.

One floor of about 8" of concrete and 3" of sound deadening material (in Dallas’ largest data center). Rebar density is unknown.

We tried a Motorola Canopy 900 MHz AP+SU and found about a 30% drop rate.

Thus, we were wondering if anyone had experience with SR9s and RB112s or RB532s and concrete floors.

many concrete floors have a corrugated metal “form” which holds the concrete while it dries. This is a permanent obstruction to all wireless signals.
