Hello there
i have a ccr1009
wich have 2 users
A as full
B as full
my user is A
and i want to know if i can show the password (not change only show ) of the user B ??
is there is any way ?
Who are you trying to fool?
Do you try to steal someone else’s password to try to rip him off,
if he used the same password for his bank account, e-mail or whatever?
Nobody will help you steal this information.
A password is secret and must remain so.
At the most, if you have lost it, change it.
No. Passwords are hashed and aren’t saved anywhere.
No i'm not trying to steal someone else password the device is mine and i bought it with my money
but the company that install it will make there own user as admin and i cant access the device
my friend who works at the company as tech support he gave me access as another admin but not there own password
Your friend probably doesn’t want to be fired…
What you write is a perfect try to steal password.
As full admin you can change any password.
If you not want steal the password to gain fraudolent access to other devices of the same company,
why is it a problem not to know or change another user’s password?
If is your device, you can do anything what you want, no? Including change password or delete user.
if i change the password the isp company will turn off my entire network of towers wich is provading internet for 600 houses
Till now you do not answer to me: what you want to do with that password, if you have already full access to the device.
If you paid the device, is what you say previously, why the isp company turn off your entire network of towers which is providing internet for 600 houses???
Something smells rotten.
But if what you write is true, why put yours entire network in their hands?
What RouterOS is installed on CCR1009?
Can you make unencripted backup of the configuration?
You said you are UserA, ISP is UserB. You have full admin access.
What are you actually trying to accomplish?
This is a reminder that you also can’t do this with more mainstream gear like Cisco, as “enable secret” also hashes the password like Mikrotik.
A criminal can still buy products but if said products are used illegally (either against company IT policy) or directly for other nefarious purposes, then tis a crime.
Its up to the OP: to clarify the situation as noted its fishy as hell.
Right now it seems someone is stealing internet from a company to provide it to up to 600 users.
If it is being provided for free, then its more like Robin Hood but still illegal.
Why you bring up this old topic?
Also the OP is vanished…
I didn't count less than a month as old.
Trying to help out on other threads while I wait for help on my thread.
Every day, rextended gets a new gray hair and thus for him time is accelerating! ![]()
