Hello, I’ve some RB1100AHx2 on my network and I can’t use the export compact on it. The command stop to respond and I need to close the terminal to stopp the command execution.
Does someone with this same problem? Is ther a solution?

Is this is a PPPoE Server? If so… this is ‘normal’ ![]()
It is trying to enumerate all the PPPoE client interfaces and export them. Which it then forces the RouterOS to go into 100% CPU and eventually the command takes so long to perform that it times out.
Disable the PPPoE Interface, wait a few secs for all the client connections to disconnect, run the export compact, then re-enable the PPPoE interface.
PITA as every one gets kicked off the server - but… it works ![]()
Thanks for the reply! It’s a PPPoE server and disable the PPPoE server is impossible to me because I can’t disconnect all my customer to do a backup.
I think that mikrotik need to look for a solution because the PPPoE interfaces are dynamics and don’t need to be exported.

Unless you raise this as a support ticket, Mikrotik will not know it is a problem. You cannot guarantee that they read every post on here.

I’m in touch with Sergejs and yesterday he connects on my RB1100ahx2 to look for a solution and disvoered that the problem isn’t with the PPPoE interface but with the ospf interfaces. He’ll correct the problem.
Best regards
