Export / import users problems - batch change profile

Hi, I have to clone the configuration of a user manager.
I installed manually the usermanager in the new RB450 and with a simple “export file=namefile verbose” I’ exported the configuration from the old RB450. Removed all the mac-address from the src file and run it from the terminal of the new RB.
In the main configuration I have just one profile “Default” with its limitations.

Now, there’s a problem with the users. It seems there’s no profile.

A workaroud is to export the db from the old RB (from UM) and import to the new RB (still with UM). But there will be not onlt the users but all their sections, counter, last ip, mac etc.

Is there any way to just simply import the users with their profile?

Another question: is there a way to batch change the profile to a group of users?

Thanks in advance, Simone

Hi

I have kind of the same problem.
Trying to export users from usermanager to build a CSV for SQL import.
Exporting users gives me username, password etc, but not profile…

that because maybe the “user” and “profile” section are separated from each other and sometimes do silly thing.
Couple of days ago i run
/tool user-manager database clear-log
in CLI to deleting my log. but after day i saw specific limitation for specific profile has activated in other profile and all of them have new limitation that I didn’t want to and never meant to. it’s funny, ha?
