while v6 is not released, maybe it’s better to make “/export compact” the default behaviour, adding something like ‘/export full’ as an option?
it’s not wise to do such things between minor versions (some backup systems can go crazy on export suddenly decreasing in length), and ‘compact’ is a nice option to use it everywhere. so when people will do major upgrade to v6, they will know that their software should probably be tuned according to this change, and all the rest just won’t almost notice the change
