Extend OSPF network

I am aware that I am asking many questions about ospf in these days. I am in the learning phase so Im asking you to help me for find the right ways for me please forgive me.

Im tring to convert my all network to Routed network from bridge. and here is my main network

in here there is bridged network which are 172.16.50.0/24 and 172.16.51.0/24 and I would like to convert them also to routed network. what should i do here ? I should add this network as area1 and use area1 all this bridged network ? I mean while create ospf networks should ı prefer to use are1 on all other devices which are start with 172.16.50.x.

You need to read some classic info about ospf. These two networks must be in Area0. Their ABR’s will advertise these networks to each other with LSA Type 3. While you have these networks in their own Area, you can’t make these networks reachable.

I created are1 on TowerM and add other bridged network as Area1 and I convert all to from bridge to routed(ospf) and I select area1 for all other devices which are bridged before. not its working. is that wrong way ?

It’s bridging way just in 1 area. It’s fine, they will speak with LSA type 1 and 2, if you want. Single area is fine, if it’s not huge.

bridged network are 100-120 device totally.. so I create area1 to keep away them from backbone area.

Okay. Your recalculating process of Dijkstra algorithm will end on ABR of Area1 and he will speak with others areas with LSA type 3.
