Extend password length for hotspot account!

Anyone have any idea of how to extend the password for hotspot account? As i see on my userman page, password length for each hotspot account is 5 characters. Can we extend it to more than 5 characters and is it possible to make that password character all numeric (ex. 93572314)?

Where do you see that password is limited to 5 characters ?
As far as I know it is not limited.

But when add user on userman page, i get a user with only 5 characters length password. Would you recommend me where i go to change the password length?

I understand, you’re talking about User Manager add batch option. Currently it is not possible to change the length for password there. But I guess it will be possible in new User Manager, which we are developing now.

Just import the usernames and passwords using a script, it’s easy.
We manage all of our usernames and passwords for all hotspots remotely as they are on prepaid cards, then they are sent to the usermanager box in batches as they are sent to our sites. This way you can control site by site access for users, very easy.

We simply use another system to generate the usernames and passwords, then once they are allocated to a site in that database the database exports the usernames and passwords with other details such as the hotspot user profile to use, uptime limits, data limits, etc, then FTP’s it to the usermanager box, we then run a script on that box automatically every 15 minutes which the imports the file which is actually formatted as a script and loads the users into the system.
