A newbie here, with a hap ax2 that works perfectly as a router. From what I have understood, it is not the same process with capsman as before on ax2. I have a mikrotik map 2 that I intended to have to extend my wifi. It can be wired but I’m not sure how to go about it. In the future I want to expand my wifi with more apps but not right now due to cost reasons. Is it possible that I buy more ax products or does it work with all models of Mikrotik’s ap? 2- you can not mix legacy wifi (map) with wifiwave2 (ax2) for capsman setup.
You need 1 controller for legacy capsman, one controller for wifiwave2 capsman (if you want to use capsman).
For 1 AX2 and 1 map, capsman is not needed. You can perfectly setup both APs manually.
