I’m a first time user of Mikrotik.. I live near my university in a dorm thats just a couple feet away from the wifi’s range… I want to install a mikrotik router on my roof and access the university’s wifi through a router in my dorm… Please help me with the configuration… This is a screenshot of the details when my laptop is directly connected to the university’s wifi.. Please lead me through the steps to setup my routerboard411 v.6.0rc14
Scan for wireless. connect, and add the correct security profile.
Then make your router a station. Have a dhcp client at wireless interface, and make a subnet to lan and a dhcp server.
Make a firewall src nat, masquerade rule.

Scanned and connected… There is no security its open so i can skip the security profile.. Can you please describe a little bit the next few steps and which IPs should i put in each box… thank you and sorry for bothering you..
If you are happy to let your PC be the DHCP client/Firewall you could just bridge the WLAN interface to the Ethernet interface and let your PC do the rest.
