Extending life of some of the older RB433/RB600's

I have found that after some time the Router Boards RB433 and RB600 and some 411’s that have the green capacitors, leak their electrolyte.

I have found that replacing these capacitors even after board dies, brings them back to life.

Just a note for some that have these boards, and want to breath some life back into them.

De-solder them, replace with capacitors of the same rating.

I have numerous boards that his has happened to, I will admit, that we are in the tropics, and heat could play a role in them going bad.

The newer boards don’t tend to do this though as they have different components.

Nice you wrote that. I lived with the idea that almost everyone knows that. But maybe not, so this could be helpful hint for someone.

It was a good general reminder for people who are not used to checking that.
