I think User Manager will work well for some HotSpot applications I am considering. I have run into one thing I can not figure out. Having looked through the Wiki and Forum, I now must ask:
How does a user extend their time? If they have an existing UserManager account, how do they pay more for more time?
You need to add https://routername/user, where routername is the FQDN of the router that hosts User Manager, to the Walled Garden and edit the default Hotspot splash page to add a link so that users can click on it to get to the User Management page.
Did the link. All the User page has is the login page.
I need a link that allows them to go to Authorize.net or PayPal to add time to their subscription.
I assume this is available since you can enter an initial value and an add on value in the configuration.
If you login to https://routername/user with a valid userID and password you get a menu, one of the options is Payments, then select Buy Credit, the user should then receive the option to go to PayPal and/or Authorize.net
If I log in to UserMan as the admin, the only selection for the user is “No Credits Available.” Well, that is true, the user has used all the credits. But they want to buy more. How?
The scenario is I want to put a hotspot and the youth ball field so mom and dad can surf during practice. So, they will be there once per week. If their credits expire today, how do they renew next week?
