Guys,

I had a topology like this :
Untitled.png
and i had problem when i tried to access AP (in this case i use TP-L*nk WR841nd) via web browser..

 # ADDRESS NETWORK BROADCAST INTERFACE
 0 192.168.100.99/24 192.168.100.0 192.168.100.255 ISP
 1 192.168.0.1/24 192.168.0.30 192.168.0.255 LAN

 0 chain=srcnat action=masquerade out-interface=ISP-Oxygen

 0 A S 0.0.0.0/0 192.168.100.1 1
 1 ADC 192.168.0.0/24 192.168.0.1 LAN 0
 2 ADC 192.168.100.0/24 192.168.100.99 ISP 0

and for the AP i set like this

LAN IP	192.168.40.1
WAN IP	192.168.0.90 Getaway 192.168.0.1
DHCP Server active
IP DHCP Server from 192.168.40.100 to 192.168.40.199

the problem is, i cannot open 192.168.40.1 for setup, when i tried to browse it from browser in PC client [192.168.0.3]
so far the AP can work.

is there something wrong from my setup ?? or is there another best setup ??

You can’t access to the customer Lan site from your ISP site (192.168.0.1/24 )on basic routing .If you trying to access 192.168.40.1 you should be in customer Lan site . you are not wrong .

Cheers,
Myint

thx for your info myintmosoe…

yeah definitely i can access 192.168.40.1 from user that connected to that wifi…

but my question is can i access it from my LAN (192.168.0.1/24) ?? because range between AP is so far, theres no way i must come to their every time i want to access AP setup.

Hi ,

If you want access your AP from your PC 192.168.0.3 network for setup your AP simply use WAN IP of your AP so you can access .

Cheers,
Myint Mo

Hi,

you mean WAN IP AP = 192.168.100.99 ??? then network/LAN AP ??

I mean if your PC IP is 192.168.0.XX network use this IP for access your AP 192.168.0.90 ( this is your AP WAN IP right ? ) .
If your PC IP is 192.168.40.XX network user this IP for access your AP 192.168.40.1.

All the best ,
Myint

yaps…

but i cant access it either from 0.XX or 40.XX to my AP WAN 192.168.0.90 in web browser…

Hi ralop,

in order to configure your AP via its WAN IP (192.16.0.90) you most likely must enable remote management on the AP.
According to the manual [1] (chapter 4.10.4) you need to go to SecurityRemote Management and fill in 192.168.0.90 in the Remote Management IP Address field.

After you have done that you should be able to connect to http://192.168.0.90 from your PC (192.168.0.3).

Best regards,
Lui
