Hello,
I need your help on my setting.
I have an ap RB411GL and router rb1100ah. Rb411gl communicates with RB1100AH through l2tp tunnel.
End user connect ap and get ip from router rb1100. Different virtual ap get ip from different vlan interface.
If the dhcp server is over vlan, end user can get ip and access internet. It is working well currently.
Now customer wants to use their existing dhcp server to push the ip address. That means wireless end user gets ip address from external dhcp server, not router rb1100.
The router is configured as dhcp relay. And the end user can get ip address from customer’s external dhcp server.but it can’t access internet.
The vlan is set as 4.4.4.0/24, end user get ip 172.16.0.0/16.
Do I need set vlan as the same subnet of 172.16.0.0/16?
I ever tried set vlan , at AP side: 172.16.0.200, at router side: 172.16.0.201. The wireless end user got ip 172.16.0.22 from external dhcp server with default gateway 172.16.0.10. But the wireless end user still can’t access internet, even it can’t ping gateway 172.16.0.10. Do I miss something?
I would like to give more debug information if needed.
Thanks
