External FTP server download error

Hello Everyone,

I’m currently experiencing an issue with my external FTP server. While I can upload files without any problems, I encounter errors when downloading files. After a few seconds of downloading, the following messages appear:

On Windows: “The connection with the server was reset.”
On Android FTP client: “Connection reset.”
Please note that these errors only occur when I’m downloading files larger than 1MB.

For troubleshooting, I’ve tried connecting the FTP server directly and didn’t encounter any errors. I’ve also added a fasttrack rule in the firewall which successfully increased the FTP server’s read and write speed, but the download issue persists.

I would greatly appreciate any assistance in resolving this ‘connection reset’ error.

So, when I connect the FTP server to router this error appears.

Isn’t it time by now (2023) that you abandon the use of FTP?
