I reset my Mikrotik router to change passwords now the internet access i had before no longer works/ connect

I’m a newbie so I wasn’t able to connect to winbox to check the configuration before i reset it.

I couldn’t access winbox the password was changed so I thought resetting would make things easier

Inside the files menu, do you see any file with .rsc or .backup extension ?

You will need to reconfigure to suit your ISP, you may need to call them and ask them, do you need DHCP on the WAN, do you need PPPoE, set up the WAN then set up NAT etc - a lot of it may be possible through quick set, you’ll just need to know what is needed from your ISP.
